Karl J. Kuerner, III, is a driving force in American Realism and widely regarded as one of the three major living Brandywine Valley artists. Kuerner recently completed a joint showing of his work with internationally renowned fellow Brandywine Valley artist Andrew Wyeth at the Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
Born in Chadds Ford on January 12, 1957, to third generation farmers, Karl Kuerner grew up surrounded by artists and the long established traditions of the Brandywine arts community.
